Which Strength CBD Oil Should I Take?

When it comes to CBD, we may experience the opposite effect, which is known as reverse tolerance. This sounds very odd, but you need to break it down a bit more to understand what is meant by a reverse understand.
Tolerance happens when you start to see diminishing benefits from a previously sufficient amount. This often leads many individuals to take more to reach the desired level of effect, and with some substances can lead to dependency.
Reverse tolerance simply means that you’ll need less of something to get to the same endpoint. Some times a smaller dose is required and can keep decreasing in size.
As THC and CBD come from the same cannabis plant, you would be forgiven for thinking you should become tolerant of both. However, the truth is that they both work in your body in entirely different ways. THC, when consumed, will bind very strongly with the receptors in your endocannabinoid system, and this stimulates the ECS to generate effects such as feeling tired, feeling hungry or the euphoric feeling often referred to as being ‘high.’ Over time THC reduces the number of receptors available, so you need to consume more to get the same level of effect.
CBD does not bind to the receptors but instead activates them to do more work. There have been cases where individuals taking CBD find they don’t need as much and decrease their dose.
One animal study showed that the effectiveness of a CBD isolate wheres off after a few months; however when a full spectrum CBD Oil is used this did not occur, which is likely due to the presence of the other cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids in the oil.
Everyone is different when it comes to CBD. Our brain chemistry affects how well we respond to CBD which is why using CBD often requires a little bit of experimentation at the beginning, or the use of a CBD starter pack to help you find your perfect strength. But start slow, either with a 500 mg (5%) CBD Oil or a 1000 mg (10%) CBD oil, and slowly increase your dosage if needed.
CBD Oil is entirely legal in the UK. The FSA approved the sale of CBD Oil years ago. Because CBD is non-intoxicating, it means you can consume CBD Oil and experience its benefits to your ECS, such as reduced pain, lowered inflammation, better sleep, and reduced stress and anxiety levels, to name a few.
1. CBD is legal in the UK as long as it does not contain more than 0.2% THC, which is a controlled substance under the Misuse Of Drugs Act 1971.
2. CBD is Legal in the UK provided that it is derived from an industrialised Hemp strain that is approved by the EU or comes from outside the EU.
